Notorious Sadist
OK, firstly, please, no more drama, No more exceeding the emotional baggage check limit. I have met a few exceptions to this, not many lately.
Coming in a close second...Yes, I switched my listing to Dominant. Though I am primarily Dominant, I have switched for the rare woman I find who I want to submit to. No, a switch is not a confused person, or a frustrated submissive, or a weak dominant, or any of the other garbage I've heard over the years. A switch is someone who can enjoy both sides of this wonderful fence. If YOU can not handle that, get over it.
Coming in third.... I can say that sometimes I feel as if I am “a stranger in a strange land” in BDSM, because, my political viewpoints, having been a police officer, in the army, a combat vet, a military contractor, aaaaaand working currently for a security firm, tend to be a wee bit to the right side of the political scale. I have lost a few “friends” over those feelings because I am quite honestly a very passionate patriot. I find the true friends will accept that I am different and celebrate it as just another part of our unique cultural diversity blend in the BDSM world. These are, though most likely the same people who would accept that in me regardless of HOW we are related to one another.
Sorry, but yes there is now a fourth. To make this perfectly clear, I am married to a Dominant Female. Her profile here is Evillady. We have a child and do actually live together. We have had separate play partners and shared ones over the years and we have even been known to (gasp) play together. We are what I could only call a VERY selectively poly couple. Please do not confuse that with swinger or player, we are NOT “swingers” or “players”. If you need any definitions, just ask.
On to the profile:
I live on the Washington and Oregon border. It is very beautiful here and while I have lived in a few other states and three other countries on two other continents, I keep returning here. Anyone care to hazard a guess why?
A lifestyle? People call it by many names; D/s, B/d, Bondage, S&M, SM, BDSM (did I miss any?) People claim to be experts, become famous, write books, and love all that attention. People put on shows and entertain others. Some people even sell it. To me though, it is simply what each person chooses to make it. Everyone engaged in BDSM can see it a different way. Finding people who view BDSM the same way you do is a wonderful thing, as is learning how others perceive it and seeing how your own perceptions, limits, and ideas can change over time.
I call it a love-style instead of a lifestyle. It is another way of expressing our love, in a way which also happens to be incredibly erotic, passionate, and pleasurable. Fun, huh?
I got out of the "public" scene for a while, but within the last several years returned full-force. I prefer to continue practicing on the private side of things, as well as attending events. I have no more desire to be in the lime-light, I am not the "look at me, look at me!" type. I am very happy with semi-privacy. I do go to events, play parties, private parties, and clubs. Also, as a side note, I do have local people I will occasionally play with.
If you've made it this far, I would like to thank you for actually reading my profile.
I'm what many would call "experienced" in all of this, having been doing it for 23 years. No, I'm NOT 50 or 60 like many of the men on this site, nor am I some kind of player, poser, or wannabe. I just started when I was 17 into the physical face-to-face, body to body, whip to flesh aspects of this lovely activity. Luckily, this was while my mind was still flexible enough to learn and try to really understand things. I think being in this lifestyle has kept my mind that way, at least I hope so. I find the more we know, the more we still have left to learn. I like to think that we learn something from everyone we meet.
My own interests range from mild (domestic service, light bondage, objectification, cuddling, kissing, romantic love) to what some people would probably want me jailed or committed for (sever sadomasochism, long term bondage, flogging, caning, needleplay, severe paddling, and many forms of 'edge play' such as blade play and asphyxiation.) I have even been known to do a little military interrogation play, snatch and grabs and (EEEK!) water boarding.
My personal favorites are pressure points, caning, paddling, bondage, rope suspension, needleplay, knifeplay, and flogging.
Okay, here's what I seek in people: (other than low drama)
A mind. I would hope to find a certain level of intellectual awareness in those I choose to participate with. I can be entertained as much by a good 'vanilla' conversation as I can by watching a Domme beat her pretty little play toy. I do not expect someone to be a member of MENSA or to have a PhD, I just expect someone to have their own mind and not be one of the 'sheeple.'
Honor. Without honor we are nothing. I prefer those I associate with to be something.
Inner Strength. The strongest person I ever met was a 23 year old submissive female I knew, who was 4'9" and MAYBE 90lbs... soaking wet, that is. I'm not talking about the kind of strength where you can bend bars and lift heavy things. I'm talking about the fabric of your inner self. Your mortal coil, so to speak. What makes you, you?
Purpose. We all need a purpose. You cannot aimlessly wander through life waiting for mommy and daddy to give you their next handout, or for Uncle Sam to up your state assistance. Sure, we all occasionally need some help, I know I have a few times, but there is a distinct difference between having a purpose and some goals about where you want to be than simply sitting about being a drain upon society.
Beauty. Inner-beauty here, folks. I'm not looking for a fashion model. I would much prefer a real woman to any stick figured nasty attitude. Inner-beauty comes from a combination of many things, starting with a mind, right?
Boobs! Okay, yes, I might be a bit deeper in thought than your average sit-around-watch-the-game-on-tv-drink-beer guy, but, I still have interests and needs. One of those is the female body. I adore all shapes and sizes in a female body. I also adore legs, thighs, and breasts, even if not from KFC.
Hopefully the title 'boobs' got a laugh out of you.
A Quote! "If you want to rape my wallet, try my mind first."
More? " I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to the death, your right to say it."
Another? "Never get involved in a land war in Asia."
Again? "Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out of it alive anyway."
My favorite: "You do not love a woman because she is beautiful; she is beautiful because you love her."
Wow...still reading? OK then, a bit more about me:
Books:
Sword of Shannara, Wizard's first Rule, Thieves world series. Historical work on WWII, Comedies like the Ahz and Skeeve adventure series. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms works. Dracula was very good. I Claudius, The Three Musketeers, Napoleon's memoirs, A Bridge too Far, all enjoyed. OK,let me put it this way, we have six STUFFED Ikea "billie" full size bookcases and two halves stuffed with books and more still on boxes. Does that about cover it?
Movies:
OK, that list could take a while. I love movies.
Music:
My taste in music is as varied as the colors of a late summer sunset. A lot of different things, everything from German industrial to Mozart to Hanz Zimmer soundtracks. I could be listening to Beethoven's 7th symphony second movement, or Haddaway's "What is love". Five minutes later it might be Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" or Billie Idle. I am not however a fan of rap, country or modern R&B.
Hobbies?
History, SM lifestyle, movies, music, comedy, motorcycles (rice rockets - no harleys), Art, philosophy, Astronomy, xenobiology, creative uses for home made plasma energy, overthrowing small third world nations.
Turn OFFs?
Believe it or not, ya some things DO turn me off, Super skinny women, infantilism, drama, drama, drama "do me subs", smokers, drugs, excessive drinkers, "dommly dom/dommes", ignorance, stupid people.
OK, seriously, really, if you want to know more? Ask. lol.
